Flexion's founders Michael Clayman, MD (Chief Executive Officer) and Neil Bodick, MD PhD, (Chief Medical Officer) bring a total of 35 years of drug development experience from Eli Lilly, where they separately managed major components of Lilly Research Laboratories. Together at Lilly, they also created Chorus, an early-phase development unit operating with a level of productivity an order of magnitude greater than that of the industry standard.
Their leadership is backed by a strong team of developers and entrepreneurs — a team that is evolving the efficient drug development model started at Lilly.
