Michael Clayman, MD (Chief Executive Officer) and Neil Bodick, MD PhD, (Chief Operating Officer) have a total of 35 years of drug development experience at Eli Lilly and Company, separately managing major components of Lilly Research Laboratories, and together creating Chorus, an early-phase development unit operating with a level of productivity an order of magnitude greater than that of the industry.

In Flexion, this unique competency in pharmaceutical development is coupled to a successful business engine developed within Versant Ventures. Brad Bolzon PhD (Chairman of the Board) and Sam Colella (Board Member) bring ingenuity in pharma partnering, a trusted industry network and recognized leadership in life-science investment. Mark Moran, MD MBA (Medical Advisor) and Tom Woiwode, PhD (Chief Business Officer) contribute deep experience in the technical evaluation of assets, portfolio formation and initiation of new ventures.
